وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا۟ ۖ وَكَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ

English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ^ra

And We made from among them leaders, who guided the people by Our command, whilst they themselves were steadfast and had firm faith in Our Signs.

اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ

پس جب انہوں نے صبر سے کام لیا تو ان میں سے ہم نے ایسے امام بنائے جو ہمارے امر سے ہدایت دیتے تھے۔ اور وہ ہمارے نشانات پر یقین رکھتے تھے۔

Et lorsqu’ils avaient fait preuve d’endurance et qu’ils avaient cru fermement en Nos Signes, Nous avons fait d’entre eux des chefs qui ont guidé le peuple par Notre commandement.

Und Wir erweckten Führer aus ihrer Mitte, die (das Volk) leiteten nach Unserem Gebot, weil sie standhaft waren und fest an Unsere Zeichen glaubten.

E hicimos surgir de entre ellos unos jefes que guiaronal pueblo siguiendo Nuestro mandato, mientras ellos mismos eran perseverantes y mantenían una fe firme en Nuestros Signos.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر

اور ہم نے ان میں سے امام [1]بنائے تھے جو کہ ہمارے حکم کے ساتھ لوگوں کو ہدایت دیتے تھے۔ اس وجہ سے کہ انہوں نے استقلال [2]سے کام لیا اور وہ لوگ ہماری آیتوں پر مکمل یقین رکھتے تھے۔

یعنی وہ مامور تھے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی وحی ان پر نازل ہوتی تھی کہ لوگوں کو ہدایت کی طرف لاؤ۔

صَبْرٌ کے معنی استقلال کے ہوتے ہیں یعنی جب کبھی دنیا میں خرابی پیدا ہوئی اور بعض لوگوں نے خدا کی کتاب کی تبلیغ شروع کی تو جو لوگ خراب ہو گئے تھے انہوں نے ان پر ظلم کرنے شروع کیے۔ مگر وہ اپنی تعلیم اور تبلیغ پر قائم رہے اور انہوں نے ظلم برداشت کیے۔ آخر ان کی اس قربانی کو دیکھ کر خداتعالیٰ نے ان پر وحی نازل کی اور اپنے زمانہ کے لئے ان کو امام بنا دیا۔ تاکہ جو کام پہلے وہ اپنے شوق سے کرتے تھے اب خدا کی وحی کے مطابق کرنے لگ جائیں گویا آسمانی بادشاہت کے ایک افسر بن جائیں۔

[b]And We appointed from among them leaders, who guided the people by Our command, because they were steadfast and had firm faith in Our Signs.

21:74.

اردو ترجمہ مودودی

اور جب انہوں نے صبر کیا اور ہماری آیات پر یقین لاتے رہے تو ان کے اندر ہم نے ایسے پیشوا پیدا کیے جو ہمارے حکم سے رہنمائی کرتے تھے

And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs.

اور ہم نے ان میں سے پیشوا بنائے تھے جو ہمارے حکم سے رہنمائی کرتے تھے جب انہوں نے صبر کیا تھا اور وہ ہماری آیتوں پر یقین بھی رکھتے تھے

یعنی وہ مامور تھے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی وحی ان پر نازل ہوتی تھی کہ لوگوں کو ہدایت کی طرف لاؤ۔
